About Allen
Allen Danziger was Jerry the van driver in the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." He had acted in Tobe Hooper's first film, "Eggshells" and from that wise-cracking performance, he landed Texas Chainsaw.
Born in the Bronx, Allen moved to Austin, Texas in the 1970s. He's been an actor, movie producer, entrepreneur, and horror icon.
He's acted in "Eggshells" "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" "Storage Locker" "The WeedHacker Massacre" VO for "Cannibal Comedian" and soon to be released "Soul Hoarder" and "Rocky Wake" .
*Allen's bobblehead is in the BobbleHead Hall of Fame.
*He gathered a Best Supporting Actor Award from the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival for his role in "Storage Locker."
*He recently had his own pizza named after him- Chainsaw Jerry @ Joe's Slice of Sicily in Austin, TX.
*He's currently working on his autobiography.
*Allen drives a 1974 Ford van that's a replica of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre van. He bought it from from of descendant of Francis Scott Key (That's right, The Star Spangled Banner songwriter)
